Sharing is Caring!
caregiver support for aging parents

September is Disaster Preparedness Month

September is Disaster Preparedness Month. In case of emergency, we all need to have a plan to stay safe, but does your plan include your pet? Check out this list to keep your pet safe.

  • Emergency bag packed with pet food, medications, poop bags, leashes, etc.
  • Make sure to keep a copy of all pet medical records, recent photos, Microchip numbers, and ID tags
  • Keep your pet comfortable in the event of a disaster by packing their favorite blankets and toys
  • Make sure to keep your veterinarian’s phone number in emergency bag

We all love our pets, so let’s keep them safe!
A daily check-in call could be the lifeline, the joy you give someone that makes the biggest difference in their perception of what old age is like.
